Dr. Swistel was born in Akron, Ohio, attended Harvard College and Rutgers Medical School. Dr. Swistel completed his General Surgery residency at St. Lukes/Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and his Cardiac Surgery residency at Einstein, Montefiore medical centery in NYC.
